Why waste time on Anti Gay Bill

Hello Ugandans. I don't know about you, but i get intrigued and flabbergasted every time I see any story about our MPs and our parliament's way of work!! They are a real JOKE!!!
I see now they are gathering signatures so fast to go back to waste time debating and then passing a bill that is clearly unlawful.
This "anti gay bill" was "passed," very quickly, by the same people against the rules of procedure they themselves penned down. As if that's not laughable enough, you ask yourself, why did they not form a quorum if they knew they had a serious business on the floor? I wouldn't be surprised to find they even were all paid that day.
As law of fairness would have it, the law was quashed by the court...and they are now back at it, moving in circles. Of course they now realise it's a saleable cause to the electorate that the next elections are around the corner.
Are they realising the time they are wasting; first by failing to attend sessions, then pass laws haphazardly, then spend time in court (thank goodness no costs were awarded), then now try to stop debate on the budget, to go back to debate and pass the same bill, and then, of course another court case will be in the offing..........
You don't have to be a magistrate or a judge to know that this law is an infringement on the minorities human rights!! I know many Ugandans are in support of it, but that's the law. You can not enact laws in contravention of a bigger law!! This law is against all Human Rights Laws in the World..So tell me that it will last the taste time when passed!!
So what do we do to these time wasters? I think the only prevailing solution now is be called back by the electorate. But this is next to impossible! The poor peasants can't manage a person who is 150 million shillings richer for doing nothing. He's got the ability to compromise all the poor constituents.
We need to think hard, otherwise, we will continue to spend more on trips to the western world for more alms. Oh Uganda!!
